iGEM

iGEM is a summer competition in Synthetic Biology. It has been initiated in summer 2004 in the US at MIT and went international in 2005. We expect more than 200 schools from all over North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia for the 2016 edition of the synthetic biology summer competition for the design of biological systems (iGEM).

Together with other groups at D-BSSE, the CSB group participates in supervising the ETH Zurich iGEM team. Find out more about iGEM 2019 external pagehere and about how to take part in the iGEM team of the ETH Zurich here.
