Receptor Tyrosine Kinase signaling (computational) 

The principal goal of the project is to understand the dynamics of receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) signaling using perturbation time series data from different cell-lines. Under the assumption that the dynamics in the different cell-lines differ from each other only in the model parameters, we would fit an existing RTK model to the data using nonlinear mixed effect model frame-work. Based on the estimated parameters, we would draw conclusions regarding the mechanism of RTK signaling across different cell-lines, and the applicability of mixed effect models to understand complex systems.
